As if being a highly acclaimed glamorous jazz singer and songwriter weren't enough, Clare keeps herself more than busy with a whole array of other pursuits including broadcasting and column writing.

Now in her 5th year as presenter of this successful and long running radio show, Big Band Special is a chance for Clare to indulge in one of her great loves namely big band music.  As well as introducing and interviewing guest such as Michael Bublé, Amy Winehouse, Tony Hadley, Jack Bruce, Koop, Nicola Conti, Phil Woods, Joe Lovano, Ian Shaw, Anita Wardell, Liane Carroll, Peter Grant and Todd Gordon, Clare regularly gets to sing with these giants of British jazz. The show is now to be on throughout the year, making Clare busier than ever!

Clare is thrilled to be a regular presenter on this show, where she lovingly writes her own script celebrating some of the greatest music ever written.  Clare loves singing with the Concert Orchestra led by Cynthia Flemming.

Sunday Night 10pm BBC Radio 2 - online, on digital and on 88 to 91 FM.

Clare now presents her own show on BBC Radio 2 each Sunday night, taking over last year after the sad loss of long time presenter Malcolm Laycock. The show is a eclectic blend of Big Band Jazz and Big Band Swing through the ages, with Clare adding her own unique character to the mix.
